Analysis and Applied Mathematics research group at Bocconi University
WELCOME
We are a group of mathematical analysis researchers within the Department of Decision Sciences at Bocconi, where theory meets applications across essential domains.
From measure theory to calculus of variations, we delve into optimal transport problems, exploring both theoretical and numerical realms, including recent innovations in unbalanced and entropic forms. Our focus extends to differential geometry, metric Sobolev spaces, and measure-valued harmonic maps, alongside rigorous investigations into spaces with lower Ricci curvature bounds. With a keen eye on partial differential equations, gradient flows, and rate-independent problems, we drive innovation in mean field planning and optimal control.
Join us at the forefront of mathematical research, where precision and rigor shape the future.
